The 326th inaugural lecture series of the University of Benin (UNIBEN), Edo State, will be held on Thursday, 17 October 2024, according to a statement by the institution’s Registrar, Mr. Adebola Bobola.
The lecture, titled “Bankruptcy and Corporate Failure: Averting the Dreaded Evil Twins,” will be delivered by Alade Sule Omoye, a professor of Accounting and Taxation.
The event, scheduled to take place at the Akindeko Auditorium, Ugbowo campus, Benin City, will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Lillian Imuetinyan Salami.
The lecture will commence at 4:00 PM, with guests expected to be seated by 3:30 PM.
