The University of Ibadan (UI) has congratulated Professor Oyedunni Arulogun on her appointment as the second substantive Vice-Chancellor of Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
In a goodwill message signed by the Provost of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, Professor A.O. Ogundiran, UI stated that Arulogun’s emergence among several applicants is a testament to her academic brilliance.
Until her appointment, Arulogun, 59, was a faculty member of UI’s College of Medicine. She is also an alumna of the university, where she completed all her degrees.
“I pray that the presence of the Lord will be with you and uphold you throughout your tenure, granting you outstanding success,” the statement reads.
UI assures her of its full support as she steers the affairs of Chrisland University, a private institution licensed in 2015.
Earlier, a statement from the Governing Council of Chrisland university had noted that her appointment takes effect from November 1, 2024.
