  • Pending applicants advised to remain patient as approval continues.

Approved applicants under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Initiative have been urged to respond promptly to calls from their assigned trainers or risk being classified as “Declined Applicants.”

The Management of the TVET Initiative said that once approval is granted, they are expected to await contact from their assigned trainers and respond promptly when called.

According to the Initiative, failure to answer such calls could lead to the applicant being listed as a “Declined Applicant.”

Attendance at designated training sessions across Nigeria has also been declared mandatory, as trainers are solely responsible for issuing monthly payment vouchers. Non-attendance, the management warned, could affect access to payments.

The Initiative also stressed the importance of teamwork and cooperation among beneficiaries at their training centres, describing the programme as “a collaborative journey designed for shared success.”

For applicants whose status remains under “Pending Approval” or who cannot currently access their dashboards, the management appealed for patience, assuring that the verification and onboarding process is ongoing.

Those who are unable to login have also been advised to reset their password and check their email for OTP. They are expected to download their TVET ID card.

Already, designated coordinators at various training centres across the country have started calling successful applicants for immediate onboarding for the programme.

The TVET Initiative reaffirmed its commitment to a smooth and transparent implementation that benefits all participants across the country.

The Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education aimed at equipping Nigerians with practical and employable skills. It offers short- and long-term training across various trades and technical fields through accredited centres nationwide. The scheme targets both secondary school leavers and graduates seeking to enhance their job readiness.
