The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) licenced 35 training centres in Akwa Ibom State for the ongoing TVET initiative, a programme under the Federal Ministry of Education.
Some of the training centres Gestric Polytechnic, with the manpower to training selected TVET beneficiaries in different trades such as Computer Hardware Repair & Maintenance; Creative Media (Digital Media Production); Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology; Electrical Installations; Fashion Design & Garment Making; and Feed Mil among others.
Similarly, Uyai College Creative Art, location at No. 43 A line, ewet housing Estate, uyo Akwa Ibom state will train participants in trades such as Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology; Fashion Design & Garment Making among others.
