Ogbomoso, Oct 11 (EdubaseNG) – Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State has announced the resumption of its 2025/2026 admission verification exercise, earlier suspended, to hold between October 13 through 17, 2025.
- Verification to run from Monday, October 13 to Friday, October 17
- Exercise scheduled daily between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
- No extension will be granted after the stated period
The directive, issued by the University Admissions Committee through the Registrar’s office, confirmed that the verification exercise will now proceed as planned next week.
The verification and authentication for candidates who have been offered provision admission was earlier scheduled to start September 27, 2025, but was postponed by the management.
Beginning from Monday, October 13, 2025, candidates are advised to appear for the exercise within the stipulated period, “failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the verification opportunity,” the management said.
The notice, signed by the Admission Officer on behalf of the Registrar, emphasized that there will be no further extension after the announced dates.
Requirements for verification
Candidates have been directed to come along the following documents for the exercise:
- O’Level results uploaded on JAMB CAPS,
- A’Level or other results uploaded for Direct Entry admission,
- Original JAMB result slip,
- Letter of provisional admission from JAMB.
- Receipt of acceptance fee payment
- Receipt for portal access fees.
After the verification of documents and payment of required fees, candidates will be directed to the Information and Communication Technology Centre (ICT) for biometric data capturing, where matriculation numbers will be generated allocated to successfully screened candidates.
What is the verification exercise?
The verification exercise is a mandatory process for newly admitted students at LAUTECH to confirm their admission status and eligibility before full registration. Incomplete documentation will lead to disqualification from the exercise.
The verification exercise is crucial part of integrating students into LAUTECH’s official database, and no student will be recognized without completing the process.
