Titled “Approval of Programmes in Your Institution” and signed by the Director of Vocational, Technical, and Skills Development, Engr. S.M. Yusuf, NBTE stated that the approval followed the Board’s Resources Inspection visitation carried out at the institution in November 2024.

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) serves as Nigeria’s regulatory authority for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions with the primary goal of fostering the growth of a competent workforce essential for driving the nation’s economic progress.

Osun College of Management Science, which prides itself as the first management science polytechnic in Osun State, will admit fresh students into the newly approved courses starting from the 2024/2025 academic session.

Located at Km 19, Akure-Ilesa Expressway, Ipetu-Ijesa, Osun State, OSCOMS now offers over 10 accredited programmes, including Banking Operations, Community Health Technology, Public Health Technology, Paramedics Technology, and Computer Software Engineering.

Other accredited courses include Performing & Media Arts, Business Administration, and Accountancy.

The institution operates three major faculties: the School of Information & Communication Technology, the School of Business & Management Studies, and the School of Financial Studies.

OSCOMS is one of the polytechnics that accept a cut-off mark of 100 for admission. Admission seekers can visit the institution’s official website at oscoms.edu.ng for detailed admission requirements for each programme.

The NBTE’s approval of these additional programmes at OSCOMS presents a significant opportunity for students and admission seekers in Osun State and across Nigeria.

With its relatively low cut-off mark and diverse range of accredited courses, OSCOMS positions itself as an accessible option for students seeking affordable and practical education.
