James Hope University (JHU) has opened submissions for the first issues of its newly launched peer-reviewed, open-access academic journals, the JHU Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship (JBE), JHU Journal of Economics and Finance (JEF), and JHU Journal of Development Studies (JDS).
- Submissions open for three JHU journals across business, economics, and development fields.
- No submission or publication fees for this first edition.
The journals are designed as international, peer-reviewed, open-access platforms for researchers and scholars to publish original academic work. According to the university, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review involving at least three referees to ensure quality and objectivity.
“There is no submission or publication charge for this first issue,” JHU announced. The journals will be published biannually and assigned both ISSN and ISBN numbers. Each published paper will also receive a DOI number for digital referencing.
Submissions are to be made in English, and only original manuscripts not under review elsewhere will be accepted. Accepted articles will be published in free downloadable e-journal format on the university’s official journal platform – https://journal.jhu.edu.ng/.
