The number of state-owned tertiary institutions onboarded on the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) is now 108 as of August 14, 2024.
Recalled that NELFUND announced the first batch of state-owned institutions on July 7, when it cleared 36 institutions; followed by 12 more institutions on July, and six days after, it further added 22 more state-owned institutions to the list.
This means that students of the institutions that have compiled by sending student data to NELFUND can now start to apply for the interest-free loan effective July 7, 2024.
