CDCFIB Result: 142,697 candidates score 81 percent and above

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has disclosed that 142,697 candidates scored between 81 and 100% in the just-concluded Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The score distribution shows that 278,543 candidates scored between 61 and 80%; 229,155 candidates scored between 41 and 60, while 221,996 candidates scored 0–40%.

According to a scoreboard released by CDCFIB on its social media platforms on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the Board revealed that 1,120,491 applicants successfully completed their applications across the five paramilitary agencies when the applications were opened from 14 July to 11 August 2025.

The Board stated that out of all shortlisted applicants, 71.8% wrote the exam, while 18.5% were absent, and 5.4% were flagged for violations during the online exam exercise.

Further details reveal that 432,935 applicants failed to complete their applications, while 360,923 applicants were disqualified.

In the breakdown of the analysis of the scoreboard, 221,996 applicants failed the online test across the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), the Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

The Board stated that the Nigeria Immigration Service had the highest applications with 703,499, followed by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps with 482,198 applications; 406,491 applications for the Nigerian Correctional Service; while the Federal Fire Service and the Nigeria Immigration Service had 165,212 and 116,122 applications respectively.

The CDCFIB data showed that Kogi had the highest number of applications with 116,378, followed by Kaduna’s 114,797 applications. Others are:

  • Katsina: 77,598
  • Nasarawa: 75,995
  • Adamawa: 75,753
  • Oyo: 68,489
  • Plateau: 67,365

States such as Bayelsa (11,683), Rivers (14,337), and Lagos (22,244) recorded the lowest number of applications.
