Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has extended the sales of its 2025/2026 postgraduate admission form from October 31 to November 30, 2025.

Recall that the institution announced the sales of the PG form for the 2025/2026 academic session on August 1, 2025, which was scheduled to close on October 31 until the latest extension.
In a statement signed by the Secretary, Postgraduate College, Mrs. Ramatu Kontagora Mohammed, the extension is to give ample time for interested and prospective students to apply.
“The cost of each application form is ₦10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only, excluding bank charges,” the statement read in part.
The statement urged all prospective applicants to visit the College website at https://pgc.abu.edu.ng for the application process, to find the list of available programmes and admission requirements, or to purchase the form directly via abu.edu.ng/forms.
The institution stated that “PhD applicants must upload a proposal of not more than 300 words on the intended research work.”
Entry requirements
At least five relevant O’level credits or a combination of relevant O’level credits and A’level qualifications (in a maximum of two sittings) such as IJMB, HND, HSC, NCE, etc.
Similarly, applicants are to accompany their applications with valid phone numbers and e-mail addresses while ensuring that they have “basic entry requirements of five O’level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.”
