The Hall Administrator of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has released the list of required documents for newly admitted postgraduate students who have reserved and paid for a bed space in the university’s halls of residence.
In a notification dated April 17, 2025, and seen by EdubaseNG on Thursday evening, postgraduate students (PGS) who will be staying on campus are required to present the following documents:
- A copy of hostel payment transaction
- A copy of the Remita payment receipt
- Three recent passport photographs
- Admission letter (for newly admitted students) or Student ID card (for returning students)
It will be recalled that ABU opened its postgraduate accommodation portal for the 2024/2025 academic session on April 15, 2025.
Date of Clearance
Meanwhile, clearance for PGS who have already made payment for a bed space will commence after the Easter holidays, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
Applicants are expected to present the above-listed documents to collect the keys to their rooms and secure their allotted space.
NOTE: Only students who have been offered provisional admission and possess a valid student registration number can access the accommodation portal, apply, and be considered for hostel allocation. All students are expected to abide by the guidelines governing on-campus residence.
