“It’s now official – B.Sc in Mathematics with First Class Honours! I am particularly excited to have set and achieved this goal.

“Also, I am grateful to my parents for their all-round support; my sisters especially for their hype; my lecturers who mostly prioritized knowledge over just passing exams; and my wonderful colleagues and friends. Congratulations to me! You can call me your First Class mathematician.”

Others who performed excellently in Victoria’s set include Charije Solomon (4.75); Udoise Victory (4.61); and Igbinosa Promise (4.57) among others.

Mathematics as a course of study is seen by many students as one of the toughest courses in the tertiary institution, but to the 22-year-old Vicky and her brilliant colleagues, mathematics and calculations are something they use among themselves as fun.
