The Scholarship Unit, Federal University of Education (FUE), Zaria, has released guidelines on how its students can get a refund for the tuition fees they paid, which have already been incurred by the Federal Government under the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND).
According to a statement signed by the Scholarships Desk Officer of the institution, Mal. Abdullahi Bashir BawanAllah, beneficiaries who fall under the refund category, whether NCE or undergraduate, seeking a tuition fee refund are directed to check the lists where their names appear.
- Check the batch and the lists where your name appears.
- Pick the serial number from the lists.
- Go to the Bursary Unit and collect a receipt.
- Get a format of the letter of refund from the Scholarship Unit.
- Attach the two receipts to the letter.
- Take the documents to the Academic Office and ask them to put it in your file and forward it to the Desk Officer’s Office for recommendations and onward submission to the appropriate authority.
The institution advised beneficiaries to “write the letter correctly and make sure your account details are captured clearly,” to avoid any form of delay.
